Marilyn is also an accomplished grant and tender writer with a wide network of state and national contacts in government departments and trade and export agencies. As an events manager and self-confessed ‘foodie event lover’, she’s managed expos and events of every kind including; regattas, corroborees, tourism trade shows, beach festivals and gourmet tastings.

She has Certificate qualifications in Micro Business and Project Management and International Business and Marketing. Marilyn is currently completing her Graduate Certificate in Economic Development and Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.
A dedicated fan of farmers’ markets and a believer in self-sufficient gardening, Marilyn aims to produce enough vegetables, fruit and eggs on her new suburban block to be able to barter the overflow. She and her cyclist husband are avid supporters of the 200 km ‘Ride to Conquer Cancer’ fundraising event.
