Fiona has been employed in senior management roles for the past 15 years within a private Telstra Dealership and as CEO for Business South West, formally the Small Business Centre Bunbury-Wellington.  Prior to these positions in Western Australia Fiona worked in Cairns in North Queensland as a Senior State Development Officer for the Department of State Development and as a business systems consultant in IT.

Throughout parts of her career Fiona has been self employed in delivering contracts for the Department of Premier and Cabinet in Western Australia, developing and facilitating training programs throughout the South West and North Queensland and assists in the management of her husband’s hospitality business.

With a strength in system development, change management, human resource and management experience together with sound financial skills she is able to bring together many facets of a business to run at an optimal level, incorporating human and fiscal resources to ensure profitability and viability in an organisation.  With many years in database management and data analysis she is able to accurately pin point and isolate issues in an organisation and recognise trends.

Further contributing to economic development and a passion in the not for profit sector Fiona volunteers her time on the Community Home Care board, Hands up for Kids board and on the steering committee for Jump Start.  She was actively engaged on the board for Cairns Regional Economic Development Corporation and is a founding member of Women in IT (Cairns).

Fiona has recently completed a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) and holds a Cert IV Trainer and Assessor.  Current study includes a course in SQL database management.
